Our programmes

Five focus sectors, working together for one Nepal.

Every project we run at Frontline Nepal ladders up to one of these thematic pillars — designed to reinforce one another across youth, livelihood and environment work.

Entrepreneurship Development, Livelihood & Poverty Alleviation

Turning local resources and youth potential into sustainable enterprises.

Poverty and unemployment are the master problems that regulate all other problems in communities like ours. Our main focus is Entrepreneurship Development, Livelihood Promotion and Poverty Alleviation — directly aligned with SDG goals on poverty, hunger and decent work.

Environment Conservation & Sustainable Development

Protecting nature today so the next generation inherits something worth keeping.

Human behaviour is pushing the world and living species into danger in the name of aggressive development. Preserving nature and handing it on to the next generation is now a global responsibility. We treat Environment Conservation and Sustainable Development as a cross-cutting priority across all of our work.

Good Governance, Democracy & Transparency Promotion

Accountable institutions are the foundation of real progress.

Weak governance and corruption in the development system are the main barriers to progress everywhere — and a constant source of frustration for people trying to do the right thing. Good Governance and Transparency Promotion is a first, cross-cutting agenda across everything we do.

Personal Development, Social Humanity & World Peace

A peaceful mind is the seed of a peaceful society.

Peace and prosperity are what most people want, yet peace is hard to find. In our analysis, the seed of violence germinates in a restless mind — so personal development and a satisfied mind are the real medicine for peace. Peaceful minds spread social humanity, and social humanity spreads peace throughout the world.

We are committed to Personal Development, Social Humanity and Peace as a focus sector, including proposed work such as the "Youth Solidarity for Peace Election" project.

Social Survey

Evidence-led work, grounded in the realities of local youth.

We ground our programming in original research. Our first published survey, “Development Status and Opportunities of Nepali Youth,” looks directly at the conditions and opportunities facing young people in Nepal today.
