
9th General Assembly of the NGO Federation of Nepal (NFN) Parbat Conducted — Mrs. Regmi of Frontline Nepal Elected as a Member

The 25th Annual General Meeting (AGM), 9th General Assembly of the NGO Federation of Nepal (NFN) Parbat, and the 10th District Assembly of the Civil Society Network Parbat were successfully held in Parbat on 25th Jestha, 2082, with the participation of various civil society organizations, NGO representatives, and community leaders. The joint event served as a platform to review past accomplishments, discuss future strategies, and elect new leadership to steer the district's civil society initiatives forward.
Among the newly elected team, Mrs. Sharada Acharya Regmi, Joint Secretary of Frontline Nepal, was elected as a member of the NFN Parbat District Committee. Her inclusion in the leadership reflects her consistent contribution to grassroots empowerment, especially in youth and women's development through her active role in Frontline Nepal.
The new leadership of the NFN Parbat District Branch includes Krishna Prasad Sharma as President, Nirmal Nepali as Vice President, Bali Narayan Regmi as Secretary, Phulmaya Sapkota as Treasurer, and Bholanath Sharma as Joint Secretary. The elected members are Mukunda Gautam, Kul Bahadur Hitang, Kalpana Thapa, Sita Nepali, Satish Sharma, Haridatta Sharma, and Sharada Acharya Regmi.
In the Civil Society Network Parbat, Maya Adhikari was formally appointed as the Coordinator for the year 2082, and Yagyaprasad Sharma was elected as the Coordinator for the year 2083. The assemblies concluded with a shared commitment to strengthening civil society, promoting democratic values, and addressing local development challenges through inclusive and collaborative efforts.
